@Glenn, I have been thinking about switching to a virtual server or even a colo, but it’s a little out of reach financially just now, when compared to what I actually need. If CaseDetective On Demand catches on, or if some other project ideas I have come to fruition, then I’ll definitely be looking in the direction of a virtual server or colo again.

@Phil, I expect most FogBugz On Demand users will be new to FogBugz too, but there will be a few like me looking to get the benifits of an outsourced server.

I’ll put a post about how I’m finding Flex on my article ideas list, thanks for the suggestion.

Good post Ian, I didn’t even think about all the little differences people would have when switching to On-Demand, I guess I figured most users would be completely new to the system.

If you have time, I would love a post about Flex…I’ve looked into using it, but had reservations that it might be a fad or changing dramatically soon. It would be interesting to hear what it’s like development wise.

Just a thought… perhaps while you’re waiting for Fog Creek, you could setup a VPS to run that domain on. That way you would have a static IP, complete control and not have hassle of running a server on your home ADSL.
